Tyler Torres

Tyler grew up in Brookshire, Texas, a small town west of Katy. His
appreciation for real estate and the outdoors began there while hunting and fishing the land around his family’s country home.

Tyler began working in the oil and gas industry in 1985 while in high school, and continued through college before graduating from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Before starting his career in commercial real estate, Tyler was a successful business owner in the hospitality industry for 20 years. Tyler’s family originated from Albuquerque, and these ties led him to open a restaurant specializing in authentic New Mexican foods, Santa Fe Flats – NewMex Grille. He owned and operated the restaurant for 14 years and grew the business by forming and maintaining great relationships with staff, customers, vendors and the community.

Tyler began personally investing in commercial real estate in 2013, joining Texas CRES, LLC in 2017. He has a very strong grasp of the Texas Real estate market and trends. He has bought and sold many properties on his own behalf, and specializes in land purchases and sales. He negotiates deals for clients just as he would for himself, keeping their interest in mind, first and foremost. The majority of his real estate dealings are referral based. He is in the business of creating and maintaining on-going relationships with all of his clients.

Tyler lives with his family in the south Tomball/Cypress area. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and the  outdoors. He also takes pleasure in sponsoring youth programs and volunteering his time to charitable organizations in the community.
